Xert Training Pacer is right at 12 O’clock.
The needle on my Xert Training Pacer is right at 12 O’Clock, but if I don’t ride today, the 24-hour triangle shows that I’ll slip back towards 11 O’Clock. The Xert Adaptive Training Advisor is recommending a 109 XSS ride, with an Xert FOCUS on “Endurance”, or “–:–“.

POST-RIDE Xert Training Pacer Values
Let me begin by saying it was just a gorgeous ride, albeit with lots of smoke and haze. We rode in Portola, California, and I largely followed the plan.

Well, that hill at mile 21 is what happened….!

Here’s the effort. I used the Xert Segment Hunter a little bit, but I had set it at 9:00, and it ended up not being as useful this time.

About half an hour later, there was another climb. This one, I used the Xert Segment Hunter to greater effect.

But have a look at my Garmin Xert Fields…

The beauty of this ride is that my wife and I were now able to just slow-roll back to the car, and I could focus on bringing the FAT grams back up and closer to the Carb grams.
