Xert ATA and Training Pacer Each Say “Easy Does It, Wharton!”
The Xert ATA and Training Pacer want me riding some endurance.

The Training Pacer is at 12 O’Clock, and my workout goal is an easy 56 points. My FOCUS should be at “–:–“. The outside temperature is about 55 degrees Fahrenheit, with no wind. I think Tracy and I will go mountain biking in a short while.
Mountain biking usually requires an effort that is going to bring my FOCUS “Down”, into the 10 to 20 MMP range. However, it’s usually the only way to scale these trails.
I’ll report back after I return. Luckily, the trails are just outside the front door. Friend me up on Garmin Connect and RideWithGPS, as well as Strava, and follow along.
Post – Ride ATA and Training Pacer
Well, the ride did not go completely as planned. Tracy and I got a late start after a world-renowned Exercise Physiologist called and we spoke. Dr. Nathan Townsend is a long-time friend, and he’s been following the blog. My conversation took a few minutes that I did not have, and we ended up curtailing the ride. He and I are going to work on some projects together, surrounding Xert and Mean Max Power, but that won’t happen until I get indoors. Suffice it to say that the Ride only ended up being about 42 points, and FOCUS was aerobic. Here is the Garmin Xert Field Page.

As a result, the needle did not move into the 1 O’Clock position like I had wanted.
The good news is that the Xert XPMC Chart shows my form returning, and I’ll be fresh for Wednesday’s workout.
Thanks for reading!
