Coach Wharton reviews the data you collect from your Garmin head unit and watch—such as traditional heart rate, power, cadence, advanced heart rate (HRV) and more—and analyzes it to understand your current fitness level, training history, and unique physiological markers.
He then uses this insight to design a personalized training program that aligns with your specific goals, whether you’re aiming to improve performance, build endurance, or enhance overall health.
Each workout is carefully planned to match your strengths, address your limitations, and evolve with your progress over time.
Online coaching can include VQ Velocity live classes as well as replays, which can be approached independently depending on each athlete’s preferences, needs, and schedule.

How to get Started
It all starts with a video call on the platform of your choice.
You’ll meet with Coach Wharton to review your history, discuss goals, outline the wearable and bike technology that you own, and what may be needed.
Coach Wharton is a Pioneer in MELDING the PHYSICS of sport with the PHYSIOLOGY of the individual. This is highlighted in the videoconference, where we’ll unlock features, fields and theories that will help you understand how to apply this meld on every ride, run, row, or swim, for optimal results. The data is there, but the knowledge is what you’ll gain through this journey and relationship.
Once the first session has ended with setup and comprehension, regular reviews and follow-ups are held via videochat. These chats are recorded and uploaded for PRIVATE review. This is YOUR information and programming. There’s no template or AI Bot involved.
