Why A Coach Will Help You
A Coach Will Help You Salvage A Workout, Better Than Any Prescibed Program Failing a workout is always frustrating. A good coach will help you understand why, and how, but a great coach will help you get something good out of that workout. This will help you physically, physiologically, and mentally. Let’s find out why. […]
January 30th, 2021 Webinar – Xert Gave me a 9 Week Plan for a 5MMP Breakthrough.
Did I Achieve my Goal?
The Xert Adaptive Training Advisor is an uncanny Artificial Intelligence program that provides suggested workouts and weekly FOCUS recommendations.
I worked for 9 weeks of Progression, following the Xert Adaptive Training Advisor, to see if I could achieve a 5MMP Fitness Breakthrough.
Let’s see how it went!
The Xert “Time-to-Exhaustion, Time-to-Recovery” Garmin Field in REAL TIME.
Today’s Xert Daily Ditty shows how the Xert “Time-to-Exhaustion, Time-to-Recovery” Field shows timer countdowns and count ups, as wattage is generated while cycling. Not much is going on this week, since I am tapering, but the Xert “Time-to-Exhaustion, Time-to-Recovery” Field will be integral to my 5MMP Breakthrough Effort. Thanks for watching, and ENJOY THE RIDE!
Xert Taper
Xert Taper and Building the 5MMP Breakthrough Workout I’m just five days out from my Peak Performance, and it’s time for the Xert Taper. I’m switching the Xert Improvement Rate MANUALLY down to “Taper”. I thought that Xert would do this automatically, but it’s provided a “Hazard” sign informing me that it would be […]
Xert 5MMP
Xert 5MMP – Can I REALLY Achieve A Breakthrough? I’m just nine days out from my Peak date per Xert. My Xert 5MMP is reading “355”, and it floats between 355 and 357. I rode some 5 minute intervals yesterday and barely broke 302! The Vo2 data is showing that 355 will be a true […]
OverReaching
OverReaching With Xert I’m just 10 days out from my “Peak” with the Xert Adaptive Training Advisor and Xert Goals, so it’s important that I push through this period, and OverReach. An OverReach is about increasing both training volume and intensity, and FOCUSING on the intervals necessary to improve, in this case, my 5MMP power […]
Xert GOALS – Alter the parameters.
Xert Goals Today’s Xert Daily Ditty is covering recent ground; I have to reconcile what the Adaptive Training Advisor is telling me, vs what I am seeing in the Progression and Fitness Signature. I also need to alter the Parameters in the “Goals” Section, to better fit my perspective of what I’m seeing and feeling […]
Xert Daily Ditty – Using Intensity to Achieve Your Weekly Suggested FOCUS.
In Today’s Xert Daily Ditty, I’m showing how sliding the Freshness Feedback bar changes the suggested workout and intensity, and how the past two days of workouts affected my Weekly FOCUS. I’m also going to talk about using the Xert TTE-TTR Field to achieve a Suppressed and a Depressed MPA during workouts. Enjoy the Ride!
Xert Daily Ditty for January 6th, 2021 – A Fitness Breakthrough and more!
I finally bucked the trend and performed a hard workout yesterday. It led to a Fitness Breakthrough, a new fitness signature, and more. But I want to get my Weekly Intensity set for my 5 Minute Mean Max Power (5MMP – or “Breakaway Specialist”). So, it’s back on the rollers for more intervals! Here’s Today’s […]
A Simple Proposal.
I’m offering my readers, coaching clients, and prospective readers A Simple Proposal.
I’ll be placing my past and future webinars behind this paywall, and instead of offering separate charges for Webinars, I’m going to fold them in with the blog membership.
You’ll be able to read all the blog’s contents, watch past webinars, all future webinars, and their recordings, for $9.99 a month.
I MAY offer Group Fitness Classes through the blog membership when that becomes available; we’re not there yet, so we’ll have to see.
Anyway, I’d like to hear your opinion. The Xert Daily Ditties take about an hour each, and of course, Webinars take time, but they work best when there’s lots of interaction and they’re set to a regular schedule.
With that, here’s the Webinar from January 1st. I’ll post a blog later today.
Thanks for Reading, and Enjoy the Ride!
